The app stopped displaying my GLS package after a few events. GLS’ website shows the tracking fine though, so there’s probably a bug somewhere

Great app! I think I found a bug though. I have 3 package entries, two of which are the same actual package. The reason two of them are the same is because it is coming from China and changes carriers from Hong Kong Post to USPS. Of course, one of them will say that it is invalid, but that is not the bug.

The bug is that in this situation none of the items will update unless done manually. I have the automatic update set at 30 minutes, but it doesn’t do it at all. If I manually refresh, it updates fine.

Parcels is showing “Status unavailable” for Amazon.com (US) orders since Daylight Saving Time ended. This applies to an order I placed before the time change and after.

love this app because it works. however i just rooted my mytouch slide and installed CyanogenMod 7. Now parcels looks like it is not able to get tracking information. I double triple checked the number and carrier and it does not work on my phone anymore. texted the number to another (non-rooted) phone and pasted it in and it works fine on that phone. If you could let me know if i am doing something wrong that would be great. running 1.3.10

Add the ability to add a tracking number via a picture of the digits. Right now a scan can input your code but say an eBay purchase and you get a tracking number e-Mailed, it would be great if you could integrate some sort of digit/character reading system. “Android notification” doesn’t show up on HTC Aria, rooted, running cyanogenMod 7.1.0-RC1-Liberty after successfully activating the front-end following donation upgrade. Makes the upgrade worthless But I do LOVE this app and would kill for a desktop version.

Is it possible to add a quicklink webfrontend to this page (below the market links or so)? It took me 5 minutes to find the url only because i’m not using my own pc where i saved it as a favourite.

Maybe have an online account with a sign in….that way I can enter packages on my computer and it would sync with my phone.

Du könntest auch den source code der App z.B. unter der GPL veröffentlichen. Leute wie ich würden bei Bugs und neuen Features selber einen patch schreiben und dir mailen, was dir ne Menge Arbeit ersparen kann! Außerdem können die User so sicher gehen, dass ihre Daten nicht an irgendeinen Server gesendet und verkauft werden

Nicht zuletzt ne geile Idee, weil man als Anfänger bestimmt was daraus lernen kann

Übrigens:

Amazon.de funktioniert schon seit längerer Zeit nicht, egal ob Bestellnummer mit oder ohne Trennstriche eingetragen werden (> No Status). Bei Hermes hatte ich die letzten 2 Sendungen auch Probleme (kein Status, obwohl über Hermes-Homepage Status verfübar), jedoch weiß ich nicht, ob das ein Dauerproblem ist, da es davor auch mal funktioniert hatte.

Couple of niggles:
It doesnt accept DHL Waybill numbers. I’m having to use the DHL app to track these.
Any plans to include Royal Mail Recorded and Special Delivery?
